April 4th – Chicken Tagine (Moroccan Stew)

We begin the month with a flavorful journey to North Africa! Chicken Tagine is a hearty Moroccan stew cooked with a blend of spices, tender chicken and vegetables. Children will learn about the balance of sweet and savory spices and experience a slow-cooking dish packed with aroma and tradition.

April 11th – Easter Cupcakes

Just in time for Easter, our little chefs will get creative with colorful, themed cupcakes! Kids will bake their own cupcakes from scratch and use icing, candies, and toppings to decorate festive Easter designs. It’s the perfect mix of baking and creative expression!

April 18th – Chicken Chimichangas

Next, we head to Mexico for a crispy, flavorful treat! Chimichangas are deep-fried burritos filled with seasoned chicken, cheese and veggies. In this session, kids will roll their own burritos and learn about Latin American cooking.

April 25th – Orange Pistachio Cake

To end the month, we bring a soft and nutty dessert that’s full of springtime flavor! This moist cake combines the citrusy brightness of orange with the crunchy richness of pistachios. It’s a great way to teach kids about contrasting flavors and texture.
